1946 Playoff Headlines : scrapbook, 1946.

The St. Louis Cardinals and the Brooklyn Dodgers were tied at the end of the 1946 season and played the first playoff game in major league history. It was a three-game series with the Cardinals winning. This scrapbook has headlines from across the country and Canada relating to the playoff games and the Dodgers losing. The final page has a small Dodger obituary glued in the center.
